04.-07. July 2011<\/strong> – warm up \/ fringe<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event in july 2011 will start with a ‘warm up \/ fringe’ phase (04.-07.July). During this time the workshops<\/a> are running, the permanent and temporary installations<\/a> in public space and special indoor-locations will be open and daily schedule of guided audio tours and walks will be offered. Around our main bases M\u00c4RZ-projectspace<\/a> and Ptarmigan<\/a> we will establish a social hub for the tuned city project, with information counter, meeting point, starting location for several walks and guided tours. A fringe program will give the chance to present projects and research related to our topic in short presentations and Pecha Kucha – style sessions and short performances. 07. July 2011<\/strong> \/ 20:00h – opening<\/strong><\/p>\n

The concentrated Tuned City event will start on the 7. July evening with a general introduction to the topic and the very special performance of Naldjorlak<\/strong> (composition by Eliane Radigue) played by Charles Curtis (US)<\/a><\/strong> at Hobuveski (Horse Mill Theater), Lai 23,\u00a0 Tallinn <\/em>map >>>.<\/em><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

08.-10. July 2011<\/strong>
\nThe daily schedule for the 3 following days is structured as following:<\/em><\/p>\n

11:00-15:00h<\/em>
\nConference and lecture program<\/a> each day in different locations<\/a>, undertaking a architecture-historic journey, starting from the 14th Century Old Town, going over the remains of the industrial developments in the beginning of the last century, the Soviet-era architectural utopies of the 70s and 80s and ending in the Now<\/em> of contempory Tallinn.<\/p>\n

15:00-19:00h
\nsite-specific program<\/a> – one can float around the city and combine his own program out of several walks, performances, guided tours, etc.<\/p>\n

18:30-20:30h<\/em>

Juulikuu p\u00f5his\u00fcndmus hakkab eelsoojendusfaasiga. Sel ajal toimuvad m\u00f5ned workshop<\/em>\u2019id<\/a>, \u00fcleval on ajutised ja p\u00fcsiinstallatsioonid<\/a> kogu linnas, siseruumides ja v\u00e4ljas, saab registeeruda ja osaleda audioekskursioonidel ja -jalutusk\u00e4ikudel.
\nTuned City tegevuse keskpunktiks olevast M\u00c4RZi projektiruumist<\/a> ja Ptarmiganist<\/a> kujundatakse festivali sotsiaalne kese, kus on infolett, kohtumispaik, mitmete audioekskursioonide ja -jalutusk\u00e4ikude alguspaik, samuti \u00f5htuprogrammi toimumispaik, mis annab v\u00f5imaluse esitleda projekte pecha kucha<\/em> stiilis sessioonidel l\u00fchikeste esinemistena. See vorm v\u00f5imaldab teadlastel ja erialainimestel tutvustada oma projekte ja suhelda v\u00e4ljaspool ajalimiidiga piiratud konverentsivormi. Peagi j\u00f5uab \u00fcles ka t\u00e4psem programm!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tuned City intensiivsemad ettev\u00f5tmised saavad alguse 7. juuli \u00f5htul, \u00fcldise sissejuhatusega teemasse ja s\u00fcndmustesse ning v\u00e4ga erilise performance<\/em>\u2019iga \u201eNaldjorlak\u201d<\/strong> (kompositsiooni autor Eliane Radigue), mille esitab t\u0161ellist Charles Curtis (US)<\/a><\/strong> Hobuveski teatris (Lai tn 23, Tallinn).
