From 1948 sound engineer at the Broadcasting Center, Potsdam, from 1951 research assistant for space and architectural acoustics at the Broadcasting Research Center (RFZ), Berlin. Consultant for important studio and cultural buildings in the former GDR (a.o. Broadcasting and TV Studios Berlin, city halls Chemnitz and Suhl, Lukas church Dresden, Produktionsstätten VEB Deutsche Schallplatten).
